Stress Management for Organisations
One day workshop on “The Essentials of Stress Management”
This experiential workshop gives an individual a thorough understanding of what exactly stress is, what their stressors are and in
what way are they impacting on the physical, emotional and mental well-being of that person. Each participant will take a stress test to establish which areas of their life they are most stressed which will help
them to focus on these. The individual will learn which areas of stress can be managed by changing the way they do things, or addressing things that can be altered as well as how to change their mindset around
stress when there are stressful situations that cannot be altered at all, such as deadlines, corporate restructuring and so on. The impact of stress on anger will also be explored which is very unique to our
workshop and very important.

Employee Assistance Programmes/ Wellness Programmes/ Stress Counselling
Stress Management has a direct benefit to employees well-being and good health. We can run a programme for you
that will meet your specific needs. If you are running an HIV programme, stress management should be included as it
essential that those infected in your workplace are not overly stressed. We can also consult and give guidance on what things can be done to assist employees on a day to day basis.
We are able to be available for periods of time in your organisation to see individuals privately and confidentially for
stress counselling in the workplace or alternatively, you can send someone to our Centre for one on one counselling for a full day.
Stress Management Get-Away from It Programme
The above workshop can be held over 2 or 3 days as a residential away from the organisation. There is a real
opportunity to unwind and destress and is best held at a venue with a health spa that can offer a variety of treatments
for the physical and spiritual well-being of those attending. We have run these very successfully at country retreats,
conference centres, hotels in the garden route and retreats in the mountains. Every participant will devise a stress management plan for their future to ensure the longer term effectiveness of such a programme.
